  • The common type of home electrical wiring is non- metallic, or NM, cable. You may also know it as Romex cable, which is the most popular brand name of this type of electrical wiring. NM cable is usually three or more individual conductors.
  • Single phase supply consists of one phase wire called hot wire and one neutral wire connected in Energy meter by PSPCL as input supply 220V. The output 220V supply is taken from Energy meter to MCB distribution box. ELCB, DP MCB / Isolator are used as main control.
  • For most homes, there is usually 28 dedicated circuits in a house. These circuit are 20 amps. According to the National Electrical Code (NEC), requires that kitchens have at least two separate 20 amp, 120 volt circuits for countertop outlets which also should not be more than 4 feet apart.
